Dear Customer,

Swire Shipping is pleased to update the modern shipping fleet and capacity within our East & South East Asia shipping network.

We will introduce the second C-Class newbuild into our comprehensive network. MV. Chefoo is the second of four 2400 TEU newbuild vessels to be delivered in 2020. She has a LOA of 185.86m, is capable of carrying up to 2,400 TEU with Breakbulk cargo reflecting our design of having stoppers installed in 3 holds with 3 x 45MT electro-hydraulic cranes.

  • MV. Chefoo v 2024 will replace MV. Orea and commence on voyage 2024 from Port Kelang on 16th August.
  • MV. Orea v 2020N will omit Singapore.

MV. Shaoshing will phase into our ESEA service complimenting the other two S Class multipurpose vessels within our ESEA service.

  • MV. Shaoshing v 2023N will call into Sri Racha and omit Port Kelang during this swap.
  • MV. Shaoshing v 2016S will commence the ESEA voyage rotation at Sri Racha.

MV. Mia Schulte will phase into our South East Asia to PNG & Solomon Islands service in time for the peak season demand. This product is an 11-day frequency with the fastest transit time from South East Asia to PNG & the Solomon Islands.

  • MV. Mia Schulte v 2013N will omit Sri Racha and call into Port Kelang during this swap.
  • MV. Shaoshing v 2016S will commence her rotation at Port Kelang.
